Nicki Minaj’s ‘Pink Friday’ & Rick Ross’ ‘Teflon Don’ Go Gold
Nicki Minaj’s debut album Pink Friday has gone Gold in just three weeks at retail. The album sold 82,000 this week taking the total to 561,000. Interestingly, though the total is short of Kanye’s My beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy which sits at 672,000, Pink Friday has sold more in the last 2 weeks.
Rick Ross has also earned his 4th Gold plaque in a row with Teflon Don crossing the 500k mark this week with 8k sold.
Redman debuts this week at No.100 with only 11k.

50 Cent Sued Over ‘I Get Money’
Fif has been hit with a copyright infringement lawsuit by an aspiring rapper from Atlanta who claims he owns the original license & rights for the beat to the rapper’s hit single ‘I Get Money’ which appeared on 50’s 2007 album Curtis.
Tyrone “Caliber” Simmons, 28, claims he purchased an exclusive license for all the rights to use, record, publish, re-produce and perform the “I Get Money” instrumental beat, which was produced by William “Apex” Stanberry.The lawsuit, which was filed in the United States District Court, Eastern District of New York, claims that 50 Cent, Aftermath Entertainment, G-Unit and Shady Records knowingly infringed upon his instrumental track.
